Really interesting. I didnt know it was meant to be a sort of museum for her collectiobs. It seems less weird now!

She has a lot of stuff, but if it makes her happy, that's all that matters. I don't understand why the press calls it a mall. When I first saw that, I imagined she was shopping in her basement because she didn't like crowds. I use the same term, but it doesn't really fit. It's what you just said - a museum for her collection where she also shops for gifts for her friends.

Yes, the concept of a colkectionmakes sense, a shopping mall doesn't. 😁

Wow I had no idea!

And this is my favorite sentence: "Beneath it all, however, lies an undeniable and deeply relatable truth: we all want spaces that reflect who we are and bring a sense of fulfillment."

True. very true.

Thanks Jan. I was really surprised by the whole thing, but Barbra clearly puts a lot of effort into creating the themed rooms. She mentioned that she learns as much as she can about each period. Though I would question why one would mix so many different styles in your house because it's not just the basement that has different periods. The rooms in her house are similar.
